1) Disassemble the cylinder on a clean bench. Note part placement and seal locations. Keep high strength screws for re-assembly.

2) Remove all sealing elements and discard. Use non-metallic tools.

3) Clean all metal parts in solvent and blow dry.

4) Using a small brush and lubricant from the plastic envelope, (standard hydraulic oil for hydraulic cylinders) paint a thin film to all internal surfaces of the metal parts and all external surfaces of sealing elements. (The black color is from moly-disulfide to enhance lubrication characteristics and is non-toxic.)

5) Install seals into appropriate grooves.

6) Carefully assemble mechanical parts to avoid damage to seals.

7) Close assembly using high strength screws from step no. 1
