Mack Corporation releases a new product line of miniature short stroke, hydraulic actuators with threaded bodies for installations where space is limited on jigs, fixtures, molds, general purpose tooling and O.E.M. applications.

Threaded bodies for hydraulic actuators is not common but does provide several advantages:
1. Fluid lines and fittings are located at the rear and isolated from the work area.
2. Mounting is simple and practical with easy adjustment and locking.
3. Installation is neat and clean to reduce accumulated debris.

Force output is from 1 ton to 3 tons in five standard models rated at 3,000 psi.
This design features leak-proof SAE ports and polyurethane lip seals on fine dense-chrome-plated piston rods for virtual dry rod operation.
