In support of the nation -wide trend for higher productivity at lower costs, Mack Corporation offers a product line of bench top robotic components for small parts transfer and processing in dedicated automation applications. A key feature is the choice of only those motions which may be required for any given application. For example: to pickup a part and deliver it to another location may only require a gripper and a linear motion component. Adding a rotator would allow turning a part over during transit. In summary: eight basic components can be organized into 63 practical configurations for handling the work at hand. The buildup is based on three linear motions and three rotational motions.
