Mack Corporation releases a product line of heavy duty, hydraulic cylinders with large hollow hubs for installations where independent linear or rotating motion is required through a hollow piston. A further adaptation is for two stage motion where a second hydraulic cylinder is built entirely within the piston of the first stage.

Applications include advanced tool and fixture designs, special test equipment and structural projects as well as tooling aids for use in large machine repair and maintenance jobs.

Four standard sizes are available for operating at 3,000 PSI with a choice of strokes to four inches in increments of 1/10 (0.100) inch. Data sheet 2001-1-LS offers full details.

Piston modifications to a customer's special requirement can be expedited using existing drawings and tooling.
