THIN DISC B•A•S•E® GRIPPERS - SER. 2
•Two finger external grippers simulate the motions of the thumb and index finger for grasping discs on the outer edge.
•Three finger external grippers duplicate the motions of the thumb, index finger and a third finger for grasping discs on the outer edge from either side of the disc face.
•Three finger internal grippers duplicate the motions of the thumb, index finger and third finger for grasping discs on the inside of a hole.
•A simple adaptor will mount these grippers to almost any linear or rotary motion device. Please see the GRIPPER TECH DATA SHEET for adaptors used in mounting SER. 2 GRIPPERS to B·A·S·E® motion transfer components.
•All grippers operate on the principle of a double acting pneumatic cylinder and may be controlled with a typical four-way valve circuit. See Tech. Data Sheet 9265 for the schematic.

2) Fittings and Ports
Two piece Mono-Taper™ elbows are supplied. Mono-Taper™ fittings are rugged, miniature fittings based on S.A.E 1/4-28 standards where all taper is incorporated into the fitting. Ports are 1/4-28 internal straight threads.

Fitting locations in the body is on section Y-Y & the fitting location in the cover may be oriented to any 90º relationship to section Y-Y. Two pieces elbows for 1/8" I.D. plastic tubing are supplied unless one of the options below is required.

To dress Control Lines radically outward, disassemble elbows & install only the Barbed section.
An option elbow for 1/16" I.D. plastic tubing.
To dress 1/16" I.D. plastic tubing radially outward, disassemble two piece elbow & install only the barbed section.
10-32 straight threaded optional ports.
